My REAL story to Real Estate with Migna

Q&A with Migna Barner, Realtor Associate

Q: Professional Insights:
A: I love helping clients start a new chapter in their lives, mostly helping them buy their First house. Helping others is what I like most.

Q: Things that make you who you are today:
A: My religious beliefs. My family. My moral standards.

Q: Things that make you smile:
A: My family & friends. Helping others. Traveling. Being a
Foodie

Q: If you could be on the cover of any magazine, which one and what would the headline read?
A: Not my thing as I don’t like to draw attention to myself. I think my friends would say Good Housekeeping because my home and being neat and tidy is a passion of mine. Or Food Network as the kitchen is the place everyone that comes over gathers.

Q: Most interesting and fairly useless fact you’ve heard about anything?
A: Living rooms got their name after the Spanish Flu was over because instead of being used for wakes, a home magazine said they should be used for living.

Q: Goofy or guilty pleasure of yours?
A: I love, LOVE, ice cream.

Q: Favorite quote? Why?
A: ““Better is a handful of rest than two handfuls of hard work and chasing after the wind.” ~ Ecclesiastes 4:6  This reminds me to keep my priorities in order and be balanced with everything I do.

Q: Favorite food? Why?
A: Black Raspberries! They are so refreshing!

Q: Fairly useless or unique skill or trick?
A: I can make jewelry.

Q: Favorite Movie? Why?
A: Mary Poppins. I’ve loved this movie since childhood- the music, the imagination. When I see it as an adult- a mother, a wife and a business woman, it now also reminds me to keep things balanced in my life. To not lose sight of the more important things.

Q: Favorite Book? Why?
A: The Bible. It has practical wisdom and guidance.

Q: Future Aspiration?
A: To continue to not lose focus of the more important things. Stay humble and balanced.
